JKKI Manuscript Writing Guidelines

The Indonesian Journal of Medicine and Health accepts manuscripts of research results, scientific articles, critical studies/analysis, theses, theses, dissertations and other scientific writings in the field of medicine and health.
The manuscript is the original work of the author/researcher, not plagiarism, adaptation or translation of the work of other writers/researchers.
Manuscripts specifically addressed to the Indonesian Journal of Medicine and Health, have never been published in other media.
Manuscripts sent must be accompanied by a publication approval letter and cover letter signed by the researcher/author.
Script components:
  • Title, written a maximum of 150 characters, including letters and spaces.
  • The author's identity is written in the footnote on the first page. Consists of name (without title), work address, telephone/mobile number and email address.
  • Abstract in Indonesian and English, maximum 200 words, arranged in one paragraph, contains problems, objectives, methods, results and 3-5 keywords. For manuscripts in English, it does not need to be accompanied by an abstract in Indonesian.
  • Introduction, without subtitles, contains background, a brief review of the literature and research objectives.
  • The research method, described in detail, design, population, sample, data sources, data collection techniques/instruments, and data analysis procedures.
  • Discussion, parsing accurately and argumentative research results, linking the results with an appropriate and systematic theory.
  • Tables or pictures. Tables, numbered according to the order of mention in the text, written in 1 (one) space, times new roman 10. Titles short, concise and clear, located above the table. Pictures are numbered according to the order in which they are mentioned in the text. Short title, concise and clear, located below the image. Maximum 6 (six) tables or figures in 1 (one) text.
  • Conclusions and recommendations. The conclusion answers the research problem, an unequivocal statement. Logical advice, effective and not making it up.
  • References/references are written according to the Vancouver rules, sequentially according to their appearance in the entire text, a maximum of 25 references and 75 percent are publications in the last 10 years.
