Kaliurang (FK UII) – Among the creatures of Allah SWT, humans were created by Allah as the best creatures. This is in accordance with the verse of the Qur'an, namely "...ahsanitaqwiin”. So basically human nature is good. If a human does not do well in his life, then he does not follow his nature as a human but follows the nature of other God's creatures such as Satan. Thus the introduction of Dr. Aunur Rohim Faqih, SH., M.Hum in a lecture for Employee Lecturers of FK UII on Thursday, December 28 2017 at the Auditorium Lt. 1 FK UII.

Ustadz Aunur further invited the recitation congregation to take care that we as humans must act as human nature. "Never follow the actions of other creatures of Allah such as devils or animals, because our nature is not theirs. We are God's most glorious creatures. If we act according to the devil, we will surely be wrong because the devil is not us and we are not the devil," he said.

According to him, if a human does something bad, it can be said that he is not carrying out his life as a human being, and this often happens in human life in this world. This is because in this world it is full of tricks and temptations by the devil that will lead people to fall. For that we need a struggle in facing the temptations of life in this world.

To defeat the devil's temptations in this world, the ustad who is also the Dean of FH UII said that one of the ways is to have frequent reflections. According to him, muhasabah is not only once a year but we have to do it every day. "We can do Muhasabah every day when we pray," he explained. With muhasabah we will often evaluate our behavior whether it is correct as desired by our Creator, namely Allah SWT or not. So with muhasabah we can always improve ourselves.

At the end of the recitation, Ustad Aunur invited all congregations to evaluate and improve their respective prayers. "Let us improve our prayers first. Are our prayers solemn, are there still something "great" besides Allah when praying? If our prayers are good both in quality and quantity, then other good things will follow us," he explained.
