Medical Student Wins KIDE Gold Medal in Taiwan

Kaliurang (UII News) – KIDE stands for Kaohsiung International Invention and Design Expo). This activity is an annual event organized by the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA).
This was told by Rima Nur Rahmawti along with some of her friends, namely Daris Riandi, Siti Solichatul, after attending the event which was located at the International Convention Center of Kaohsiung, Taiwan on Friday – Sunday, December 4-6 2015 / 22-24 Shafar 1437 H.
According to Rima, at this international level event, FK UII passed to become one of the finalists representing Indonesia. Scientific writing entitled “Si Mescuer (Merapi Rescuer System), first step to face natural disasters in Yogyakarta”, works by Rima Nur Rahmawati, Daris Riandi, Siti Solichatul, and Achmad Bima Aryaputra are included in the Health Technology category.
"Alhamdulillah, with all our efforts, we finally brought home the gold medal in the Health Technology category," said Rima.
The 2013 student added that apart from returning home with a gold medal, this group of representatives from the Islamic University of Indonesia brought home a special award given by the National Research Council of Thailand.
The 2015 KIDE event was attended by 20 countries in the world with 126 titles that passed as finalists. Activities during the event included presentations and expos which were held for 3 days, from 10.00 to 18.00 every day, said Rima and her friends after returning from Taiwan. Wibowo/Tri
