FK UII Students Participate in the OSCE Compre Exam

Kaliurang (UII News) – Ahead of the National OSCE exam which will be held at the end of November 2014, the UII Faculty of Medicine is trying to increase the number of student graduates to reach 100% of the participants by conducting a comprehensive exam.

This was conveyed by dr. Kuswati, M.Sc on the sidelines of the exam in OSCE Room A, 4th floor of the UII Faculty of Medicine, Jl. Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta, on Saturday, 15 November 2014 which was attended by 53 people.

According to doctor Kuswati, the comprehensive exam was carried out in two sessions, namely morning and afternoon, and each session was divided into two locations, namely location A (new OSCE room) and location B (old OSCE room) or west.

"The morning session was held in two locations, namely A and B and was attended by 14 students each, while in the afternoon session it took place at two locations, for location A it was attended by 13 students and location B was attended by 12 students, only in the morning session in location A there were 2 people who did not attend while in the afternoon session it turned out that in location A only 10 people attended because 3 people with permission could not attend, while in location B, 1 student was not present because a relative had died, so that the total number of participants who attended This time the OSCE comprehensive exam was only attended by 47 students, explained Dr. Kuswati.

Doctor Kuswati further hopes that the OSCE Comprehensive Examination will trigger students' enthusiasm for learning, as well as train their skills to prepare for the National OSCE exam which will be held on November 29 2014, so that the graduation rate from FK UII is high.

Meanwhile, participants said they would study more about the compre exam material that had been tested, and would learn more about drugs and dosages, said one participant.Wibowo
