POLAND (FK-News) – The work of FK UII students again won a prestigious award in Poland. The event which was held a few weeks ago on June 21-23 2017, called the International Innovation and Invention Show INTARG 2017, was held at Międzynarodowe Centrum, International Conference Center Katowice. The work carried out by Nurul Hidayah, Razty Surisfika and M. Abdul Rauf Lamada with the title "BG-Trole (Blood Glucose Control Equipment) = A Novel Equipment to Reduce Glucose On the White Rice for Diabetes Mellitus Patient" is able to compete with developed countries such as France, the Netherlands, Germany and the United States as well as several other countries. So that his work was able to win the Gold Medal title in this competition.

The event which has been held 10 times has the aim of bringing together inventors from around the world and introducing new technological discoveries. In addition to competition activities, there are also conferences on the latest nanotechnology research. This event does not only accommodate branches of health sciences, but also other branches of science such as education and technology. One of the reasons Ida and her friends participated in this competition was because they received an offer directly from the organizers, which resulted in a lower registration fee.

In closing, Ida gave the keys to her success in winning the award, including that a piece of work must be done with great diligence and patience as well as increasing knowledge about the matter being researched and not forgetting to practice presentations so that all components of the assessment can be maximized.
