[:en]Yogyakarta, Faculty of Medicine UII – Indonesian Medicine and Health (JKKI) Faculty of Medicine UII, has already held Case Report and Original Article competitions. The process of this competition lasts for 6 months, starting from March 1 to August 31 yesterday. The awarding of prizes to the winners was given directly on Monday 03 Shafar 1439 H / 23 October 2017 by dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes, Sp.PK, as the dean of FK UII.

This year is the second year that JKKI has held a journalism-related competition in the medical field. Unlike last year which only included lecturers and students from UII's FK, this year JKKI embraced lecturers, doctors and medical students from other universities to join in enlivening this competition. Not even half-hearted, in order to attract the interest of the participants, the winners of the competition will receive a sizable prize worth millions of rupiah and an award certificate.

"I hope that this activity will be able to improve quality, as well as help the JKKI journal accreditation process in the future," said Zain (JKKI staff).

In addition, he also hopes that the interest of medical personnel in the field of writing can increase. So that besides dealing with health problems, they can also contribute to the science of communication and research in Indonesia. Even though there are still a handful of people who still take this hobby for granted, the world of writing is now increasingly being enjoyed by the people of Indonesia. Especially in the digital era like today, writing papers can also increase income. One way to do this is to write report texts and articles in accordance with the area of ​​interest.
