Kaliurang (UII News-26/8) – As a leader, in making changes, I do not do it in a revolutionary way but in an evolutionary way, where changes in organizational values and changes in systems and procedures I do gradually, little by little, so that it becomes as if As if without feeling the change has occurred.

This was explained by Herry Zudianto (HZ) as the former Mayor of Yogyakarta when he was a guest speaker at the Leadership Dialogue event organized by the Student Executive Institute (LEM) of the Faculty of Medicine. Universitas Islam Indonesia in the Student Leadership and Management Training (LKMM) event in the auditorium on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia, Jl. Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta which was attended by students of the Faculty of Medicine who are members of the Indonesian Medical Student Senate Association (ISMKI) Region 3 on Wednesday, 26 August 2015 / 11 Dzulqoidah 1436 H.

According to HZ, with that gradual change, something becomes less scary. Because it is very human that many people are afraid of change or are not ready to face change.

"Therefore, as a leader, one must have principles, one of which is not being arrogant, by taking the path of dialogue with the community, and the second is having the courage to make decisions if the decision has been negotiated," said the former Mayor of Yogyakarta, Herry Zudianto, who received an award from Bung Hatta.
