LEM FK UII Holds AORTA 2015

Kaliurang (UII News-1/9) – AORTA is an Orientation Event and Ta'aruf Akbar. This activity is an annual routine intended for new students of the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University of Indonesia to get to know the campus environment and have a love for FK UII.

        This was conveyed by Irbi Eki Habibi as Chair of the 2015 AORTA Committee, during the implementation of activities at the Badminton Field, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia, Jl. Kaliurang Km.14,5 Sleman Yogyakarta, on Tuesday, 01 September 2015 / 17 Dzulqoidah 1436 H.

        Irbi added, apart from being a forum for Ta'aruf to get to know each other, AORTA was held with the aim of forming self-characteristics as Islamic medical students who have the character of being disciplined, compact, sensitive to environmental and social conditions, and active in organizations, in the initial process of regeneration.

        "This activity will also introduce the role of students as agents of change, agents of social control, and iron stock, as well as introduce the academic system at FK UII," he said.

        Meanwhile, the Dean of FK UII, dr. Linda Rosita, M.Kes, Sp.PK reminded all new students to be able to cooperate well with each other, and understand the five star doctor from an early age.

        "Hopefully, by participating in AORTA activities, the character of Islamic medical students will be formed who are disciplined, compact, sensitive to environmental and social conditions, and active in organizations from the start of entering FK UII," hoped doctor Linda. Wibowo/Tri
