        Kaliurang (UII News) – In order to provide students and lecturers with the perspective of public health science through the Creation of an Academic Environment (PLA), the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII) held Guest Lectures (GL) which is a routine agenda by inviting speakers from abroad in accordance with the course / block that is currently running.

        This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, dr. Sani Rachman Soleman, M.Sc during the activity Guest Lecturer (GL) took place in the 1st floor Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII) on Thursday-Friday, 7-8 January 2016 / 26-27 Rabiul Awal 1437 H with speakers Prof. Josefina Isidiro Lapena MD, MFM, FPAFP from the Philippine University of Manila.

        According to doctor Sani who said that FK UII presented Prof. Josefina Isidiro Lapena MD, MFM, FPAFP from the University of Philippne Manila which was held in the Public Health Course / Block as a means and to foster friendship with Philippine Manila University which has already implemented the Primary Service Doctor Program (DLP) as a pioneer within ASEAN.

        "For more than 40 years Manila has implemented a Primary Service Physician (DLP) system which is integrated with the specialist education system and health insurance system in Manila called Phil Health which makes the referral of the Family Medicine system in the Asia Pacific region, so by presenting speakers from the Philippines you can provide insight and enlightenment to students and lecturers at FK UII about the importance of specialist education programs in the field of primary care," he said.

        As a follow-up plan and as a form of close collaboration between the UII Faculty of Medicine and the University of Philippine College Medicine is to collaborate in the formation of the Primary Service Doctor Study Program (DLP) at FK UII with content that includes HR training, curriculum development and even advanced school plans. to HR at FK UII to take Family Medicine courses in Manila.
