Kaliurang (UII News) – An Nur is one of the largest Islamic foundations in Timor Leste. Annur is located in Kampung, Alor, Dili, Timor Leste and has schools ranging from elementary to high school. In addition, An Nur has network connections with several related institutions, such as the Ministry of Education in Timor Leste, the Indonesian Cultural Center, UII Alumni in Timor Leste and other Islamic foundations.

This was conveyed by the Deputy Dean of FK UII, dr. Syaefudin Ali Akhmad, M.Sc after returning from Dili, Timor Leste to collaborate on Monday - Wednesday, 13 - 15 Rajab 1438 H / 10 -12 April 2017.

According to doctor Udin, this activity was carried out in order to open a door of information that would make it possible to collaborate with the Ministry of Education in Timor Leste.

"Alhamdulillah thanks to the help of Allah SWT there were no technical obstacles and obstacles, everything was able to run successfully and smoothly. Some things to think about are the discrepancies in the year of entry between Indonesia and Timor Leste. Indonesia has a change of school year in July, but Timor Leste in January. However, this month's difference is usually used for preparation," he said.

Doctor Udin added that some of the follow-up plans that we can provide include: given the large amount of benefits that can be obtained from the promotion side, FK UII will participate event which was held by the Indonesian Cultural Center in Timor Leste namely at the end of the year, as well as conducting further visits to conduct coaching for outstanding students and also cooperation with the Timor Leste Ministry of Education, then conducting regular communication with the An-Nur Foundation, especially in the field of selecting students who interested in enrolling in FK UII.

"We hope that various events like this will strengthen the image of FK UII as one of the best A-accredited FKs in Indonesia, expand FK UII internationally in realizing its vision as a rahmatan lil 'alamin.”, said the hope of doctor Syaefudin Ali Akhmad, M.Sc. Wibowo[:]
