Kaliurang (UII News) – In order to find out the standard health condition of the Indonesian football national team before carrying out intensive training, the Doctor of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia trusted to carry out health checks by checking blood samples and Electrodiography (EKG).

This was conveyed by a lecturer at FK UII, dr. Alfan Nur Asyhar who is also a doctor for the Indonesian Football National Team while checking 25 national team players at the Waitress Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia on Saturday, 21 Muharram 1438 H / 22 October 2016.

According to doctor Alfan, this examination was carried out to ensure a comprehensive and comprehensive health condition for the Indonesian Football National Team players before carrying out intensive training.

"Even though the player's condition looks fit, a medical examination needs to be carried out to ensure the condition of his organs are functioning normally or there are abnormalities, including coach Alfred Riedl and the officials are also examined," said doctor Alfan.

Doctor Alfan further explained that if later it was found that these players had organ function disorders, such as heart disease, the coach would have the right to write off the Indonesian National Football Team.

"Hopefully, with this moment, FK UII can become a work partner for other sports teams, both local and national, as the forerunner to the establishment of sports medicine sports, which was planned to be established," said Dr. who is also a lecturer tutor of FK UII, as well as coordinator of the National Team examination from FK UII.
