JAKARTA (Ath-Thib) – Faculty of Medicine Universitas Islam Indonesia (FK UII) has once again carved gold ink at the national level. At the 2016 Jakarta Islamic Medical Updates (JIMU) event which took place on November 24 in Building C of the Faculty of Health, University of Indonesia, the FK UII contingent consisting of Yanasta Yudho Pratama (class of 2014), Reineke Larasati Fajrin (class of 2015), and Galvin Giffari Grenaldi (class of 2013) won XNUMXst place in a scientific competition in the field of educational video by defeating the hosts, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, as XNUMXnd place, and Faculty of Medicine, Jenderal Soedirman University, as XNUMXrd place.

Yanasta Yudho Pratama or who is familiarly called Yudho explained that JIMU is a series of scientific competitions, seminars and talk shows at the national level which are attended by medical faculties throughout Indonesia. This event was attended by more than 13 FKs from various regions in Indonesia, such as UGM Yogyakarta FK, Airlangga Surabaya FK, Syarif Hidayatullah UIN FK, North Sumatra University FK, Tanjung Pura Pontianak University FK and many more. The event was very lively and the participants looked serious in preparing their best presentations to compete to be the best. On this occasion, the FK UII contingent raised the theme "Preventive Steps to Maintain Islamic Reproductive Health".

“We were surprised and did not believe we could win first place. It all starts with intentions and dreams. We certainly have a myriad of dreams but by acting we will make them come true.
