FK UII Delegates its Students to the 2012 Medika League
In the world of medicine, being a colleague is one of the most important values, including medical students throughout Indonesia. How important the meaning of collegiality is, so that there are events that can facilitate the establishment of strong bonds of brotherhood among medical students throughout Indonesia, one of the events that can bridge this goal is sports, arts and science competitions.
From the above ideas, the Department of Arts and Sports at SMIK FK UI took the momentum by again holding medical league activities. This activity is an event for sports, art and photography, as well as cultural exchange between students of the Faculty of Medicine, which this time is entering its 8th period. This activity was held for 6 days, on 5 – 12 May 2012 at the Soemantri Brojonegoro Student Center, Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia Campus, Planet Futsal Jakarta, and was attended by medical faculties throughout Indonesia and several countries in ASEAN, including Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, and Thailand.
As head of the contingent, Rahmat Nugroho explained that in 2012 FK UII entered its sixth year of delegating students to the medical league. "This year is the sixth year that FK UII has sent its delegation. This year we also hope that the FK UII delegation will achieve better achievements as in previous years," he said.
Rahmat further said that the reason for participating in this activity was to increase the talents and interests of UII FK students, as well as a medium for channeling the potential and talents in the field of sports owned by UII FK students, to maintain the existence of the name FK UII in the activities of the ASEAN-level Medika League. and a place to promote or introduce FK UII at the ASEAN level, he said.
In his remarks dr. Point Kuntari, MPH responded to the participation of FK UII students in the 2012 medical league, "It's time for FK UII to show its achievements again in the medical league event, show the ability of FK UII in the ASEAN arena and display the character of FK UII students who dress modestly, behave politely and uphold the good name of the alma mater," he asked when releasing the FK UII contingent in the auditorium on the floor. 1 FK UII, Friday, 04 May 2012 which was attended by the coordinator of student affairs unit and alumni of FK UII, dr.H. Zuchairi Dahlan, Sp.P and a contingent consisting of 6 teams namely the minisoccer team, women's futsal team, badminton team, men's basketball team, science competition team and photo competition team.
