dr. Ika Fidianingsih, M.Sc Participates in the Asia Pacific Conference on Medical Education

Singapore (UII News) – It is undeniable that improving the quality of medical education must continue to be improved to create professional doctors and health professionals.

This was conveyed by FK UII lecturer, dr. Ika Fidianingsih, M.Sc, after attending the Asia Pacific conference on Medical Education entitled 12th  Asia Pacific Medical Education Conference (APMEC) & 3rd International Conference on Faculty Development in the Health Professional (ICFDHP). This year's scientific meeting was held on Friday and Saturday 6 and 7 February 2015 to coincide with 16 - 17 Rabiul Akhir 1436 H, at the University Cultural Centre, National University of Singapore, Singapore.

According to the lecturer in Histology FK UII, to become qualified, of course this involves many components including lecturers, administrative staff, facilities, faculty and university management, the students themselves and their environment as well as the hospital and community as practice areas. The breadth of components that affect the quality of education requires continuous evaluation and research of the various components themselves, so that improvements can be made based on existing problems. So that knowledge regarding this matter needs to be known by each component involved by continuing to learn and keep abreast of developments in medical education.
