Profile

The Department of Pediatrics is one of the departments under the Medical Education Profession Study Program FK UII which aims to support the vision and mission of the Faculty of Medicine FK UII, namely as an institution that is rahmatan lil 'alamin, through the efforts of chess dharma namely education, research, community service, and da'wah and scored a Muslim good doctor

The Department of Pediatrics plays an active role in organizing medical undergraduate level education with a problem based learning (PBL) system, so that it is integrated with other branches of medical sciences. At the professional education stage, the IKA Department held a learning process with clinical educators at the professional stage at the FK UII teaching hospital. The process of learning clinical skills scientifically is given in a structured manner for 11 weeks through various activities such as bedside teaching, case management presentations, journal readings, direct observational procedural skills (DOPS), mini-CEX, case reflection, as well as patient service activities in polyclinics, wards and emergency room.

The Department of Pediatrics also participates in the development of science by participating in various training activities/workshops, seminars and other regional, national and international meetings. Professional health services are always carried out in order to carry out the vision and mission of FK UII to achieve rahmatan lil 'alamin. Sustainable Islamic da'wah continues to be carried out through the integration of developments in medical science with the values ​​of the Qur'an and Al Hadith
