Profile

The Department of Physiology is one of the departments under the Preclinical Department of the Medical Education Study Program (PSPD) of FK UII which aims to support the vision and mission of the Faculty of Medicine, FK UII, namely as an institution that is rahmatan lil 'alamin, through chess dharma efforts, namely education, community service, research, and preaching in the health sector, especially in the field of physiology.

At the undergraduate education level, the Department of Physiology organizes education with practicum and lectures through a problem based learning (PBL) system, as well as through tutorials, so that it is integrated with other branches of medical sciences.

Quality research in the field of Physiology is also continuously developed through the utilization of developments in medical technology, as well as the development of collaborations with various institutions and various scientific disciplines. Research from outside the UII institution has also begun to experience an increase in recent periods, demonstrating the existence of trust in the Physiology Department of FK UII.

Improving the quality of education is always carried out through various training workshops, seminars and presentations in various scientific forums both at home and abroad. Professional health services are also continuously developed in order to carry out the mandate of the people, namely to fulfill the need for quality services in the field of Physiology. Continuous Islamic da'wah continues to be carried out in relation to Physiology, through the integration of developments in medical science with the values ​​of the Qur'an and Al Hadith.
