Dean of FK UII to Taiwan Participate in AScPLM

        Kaliurang (UII News) – AScPLM is the Asian Society for Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Congress. This activity is a scientific meeting attended by specialists in Clinical Pathology throughout ASEAN.

        This was conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Islamic University of Indonesia after participating in the AScPLM event which was held on Thursday, Sunday, 25-27 March 2016 / 16-18 Jumadil Akhir 1437 H in Taipei, Taiwan.

        According to doctor Linda, when she attended the event, she discussed the findings of many of the latest laboratory markers discussing cancer issues, including DR 70 and Liquid Biopsy.

        "Cancer cases continue to increase every year, opening up opportunities for laboratory research to reduce mortality caused by cancer," said the Dean of FK UII.

        In the event which was attended for 3 days, doctor Linda had the opportunity to present a poster presentation of her work entitled Effectiveness Test of Green Tea (Camellia sinensis) Extract for Decreasing LDL Cholestrol Blood in vitro. Wibowo/Tri
