FKUII National Nutrition Day Service 2011
The activity, entitled “2011 FK UII National Nutrition Day Service” was carried out in two series of events at different times but did not change its essence. This social service event which was packaged in one container with the commemoration of Nutrition Day was carried out in the Jambusari hamlet area, Wonokerto sub-district, Sleman Yogyakarta on February 26 20011.
The purpose of this event is to create a family that is aware of nutrition for an independent community and a healthy life and reminds the environment around us to share. The first series of activities is the “Antasari Movement”. The antasari movement is a fundraising movement carried out by all committee members from medical faculty students Universitas Islam Indonesia, in this activity we move quickly with the target of all residents and the academic community in Universitas Islam Indonesia. Antasari itself is a rupiah symbol with a nominal value of 2000 which must be donated during the antasari movement. The activity which lasted for 3 days from 19 – 22 February 2011 went quite smoothly. Especially when we were raising funds at the Yoyakarta Monument, the event was even more lively with the presence of the artist Peppy who happened to be filming, which helped us to attract the public's attention. The movement, which is symbolized by Antasari, is expected to be successful in obtaining as many results as possible as an illustration of how much students care about social service activities and are a form of concern for others.
The second activity is the highlight of the "Division of Nutrition Packages and Children's Competitions". This activity was held at a different time, to be precise on February 26 2011. This was the culmination of a series of activities "National Nutrition Day Service FK UII 2011". Several series of events have been arranged at this peak event, namely the first session starting at 09.00 WIB in the morning with counseling on nutritional problems in toddlers, questions and answers and distribution of door prizes which aim to make mothers with toddlers always interested in this event. The last event was then closed by distributing porridge to the toddlers whose nutritional status was previously measured.
The second session was eating with mothers and toddlers around the Guava Sari hamlet, which was specially cooked by the hamlet mothers and their staff. After that there was a prayer break and others, followed by a children's competition which was held in the voley field. Starting at two o'clock in the afternoon, the atmosphere was so cheerful with the little children who were full of laughter, accompanied by dangdut music and the sound of the harmonica being blown by this jambusari hamlet. Starting with a marbles race that is placed on a spoon, followed by putting a pencil in a bottle to dancing the balloon. And finally, in the last race, you hit the water with your eyes closed and there's more, namely the highlight of the competition is the tug-of-war competition.
Until the end of the event, namely the distribution of prizes containing books and other stationery which were given to the winners of the competition, so as not to leave disappointment in the children who did not win the competition, the committee anticipated preparing door prizes for those who were willing to sing in front of their friends and food. a small digigikan for all.
Alhamdulillahhirabilaalamin, the series of activities of “2011 FK UII National Nutrition Day Service” ran smoothly. Thank you to all the committee friends, donor friends who have been kind enough to let go of some of their fortune for this activity and don't forget to thank the head of the dukuh and his mother as well as all the residents of Jambusari hamlet for their participation and warm welcome so that all the series take place. this event.
