How to Interact with the Quran

FK UII Study Period February 2016 – Ustadz Deden

Kaliurang (FK UII) – Al Quran is a life guide or map for mankind. For that we are obliged to always interact with the Koran. That was what was conveyed in the introduction by Ustadz Deden who was the speaker at the routine recitation of FK UII which was held on Thursday, 25 February 2016 at 13.00 WIB at the Auditorium 1st floor of FK UII.

Furthermore, Ustadz Deden said that there were several stages in interacting with the Al-Quran. "There are five stages in interacting with the Koran, namely reading the Koran a lot, memorizing more, then internalizing it, practicing it, and finally preaching it. " so said he.

Furthermore, this young Ustadz invites us as Muslims to be happy to linger with the Al Quran. "Let's follow the example of the companions of the Prophet who are called the best generation, because they are truly pious people who have the characteristic of always lingering with the Koran," he asked enthusiastically. "Now we have to encourage ourselves, for example as a start we target in one month to be 10 juz," he added.

In the question and answer session at the end of the event, Ustadz Deden shared tips with the congregation so that children are able to memorize the Quran and practice it. According to him, we as parents must create an atmosphere of the Koran in our homes. This means that we as parents must often read the Koran so that our children will unknowingly imitate it. In addition, he gave high appreciation to FK UII for having made a program for Faculty of Medicine students when they graduated they had to memorize the Al Quran at least the 30th Juz and there was mentoring for Lecturers and Employees (Mendowan).
