Thank God, Lecturer of FK UII Dr.dr. Farida Juliantina Rachmawaty, M.Kes, Passed Clinical Trial Certification

Kaliurang (UII News) – Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or known as Good Clinical Trials (CUKB) is organized by the Clinical Research Supporting Unit (CRSU). CRSU is a professional organization at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia that handles clinical trial management and issues certificates for those who take part.

This was conveyed by Dr.dr. Farida Juliantina Rachmawaty, M.Kes after attending the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification event for two days at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, Jakarta, on Monday-Tuesday, 23-24 February 2015 / 4-5 Jumadil Awal 1436 H.

The Lecturer in Microbiology FK UII explained that CUKB must be carried out in studies that use drugs and be registered with BPOM. Materials in this workshop include what and how clinical trials, the Helsinki declaration, ethical commissions, information for prospective subjects, sponsors, monitors and others.

"Researchers who will register their research at BPOM, the ethics committee, monitors & actors involved in these clinical trials are required to have a good clinical trial certificate. At the end of the event an evaluation was held for the participants and those who passed the evaluation were considered competent and entitled to get a CUKB certificate and one of them was a lecturer at FK UII," he said.
