[:en]3 Innovations of Medical Students Win Medals to Universitas Islam Indonesia[:]

Faculty of Medicine students Universitas Islam Indonesia won an award at the 2017 Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF). The event which took place at COEX Samsung-dong, Gangnam , Seoul, South Korea was held on November 30 – December 1 2017. Of the several medals won by Indonesia, three of them were from from the FK UII student team. Apart from winning medals, FK UII students also won three special awards.

The first team consisting of Muhammad Nur Imansyah, Annisa Tristifany, Naufal Abdurrahman, Siska Marina, and Rima Nur Rahmawati with the innovative item "Portabox", a portable and adjustable box capable of carrying vaccines, blood or other research samples, won one bronze medal and one award special from Taiwan. The second team also managed to bring home a bronze medal and a special award from Vietnam. The team members are Ulinnuha Khirza Kafalah, Nazhifah Junia, Muhammad T Machfudz, and Wildan Jauhan with the innovation of a plaster that can accelerate wound healing with the basic ingredients of chitosan (shrimp waste). The innovation "Shrimp Waste Egg with High Omega-3" from the third team with the names of innovators Sifa Anisa Yaoma, Rahmadani Sasongko, Rizky Rizani, and Helmi Zunan Tanuwijaya won one silver medal and one special award from Thailand.
